Child: Happy Father’s day Lagbaja, God bless you richly and make your way perfect for us and the world to enjoy the beauty of the Lord in you.
Lagbaja: (Smilling) Hmmmmmm!?
Child: So sorry Lagb….Dad.
Lagbaja: No problem child, it’s okay. Guess you are fine?
Child: Yes Dad, you must pop something…..
Lagbaja: Pop something? Where did you hear that from? NTA? Your mama’s womb…?
Child: NTA? Is that a name of animal, place or thing dad? From HipTV and Sound city channels, wherever Mama lies on couch awaiting your arrival at night.
Lagbaja: You need not learn such things on arrival; I won’t condone that in my house,okay?
Child: Yes Dad, So sorry about that. I just want to thank you as a ‘would be father’ to us. For all you have bought for us – the clothing, the new generator, water pump, and the beautiful German shepherd dog, the cartons of baby food and pampers . You are a great Dad indeed man.

Child: But Dad, you bought only one cot, we are two boys here.
Lagbaja: What!? Two what!? Your mama never told me this…. Petrol is 97 naira per liter, a bag of rice is 9000 naira, Yam flour is 15000 naira, even the mobile operators are increasing their tariffs yearly, the cheapest baby food is 1000 naira per can. Oh My God!
Child: OMG? Are you crying Dad?
Lagbaja: (Sobbing) No child, just tears of happiness child, but tell me you are just joking. It’s just only you.
Child: We are two boys Dad, he’s been sleeping all the while
(Dad has fainted)
