LIKE FATHER, LIKE THE UNBORN CHILD pt 3

3rd Conversation

I HAD A DREAM

Lagbaja: How are you doing guys?

Child: Guys? I’m the only one here Lagba… I mean Dad.

Lagbaja: Okay, but you told me the last time that you are with your brother there?

Child: I was just kidding Dad, I wanted to measure your happiness level then, just to see your reaction.

Lagbaja: No problem child, you are just good enough to keep me busy I think (smiling)

Lagbaja: You know what? I had a dream….

Child: Share Dad, I trust your dreams, I can’t wait to see you Dad. I heard people talking about how lovely and caring you are.

Lagbaja: Had a dream that your mother gave birth to you in a Teaching Hospital in Nigeria and it was all good child…..

Child: Hope they are not going to be on strike then Dad? But you told me you were planning for our delivery in the UK

Lagbaja: Yeah child, I’ve been trying hard to raise fund for the UK government for their God knows intention

Lagbaja: I mean the 3000 pounds as visa bond required at the embassy. I am yet to raise 1000 pounds child.

Child: I am not sure I believe in your dreams.

Lagbaja: So in the dream, you grew to become the President of Nigeria.

Child: Whao! That’s my Dad, lovely dream. I love it. Are you still feeling sleepy Dad?

Lagbaja: So when am I expecting you here?

Child: In a month’s time, as the President of Nigeria in waiting. It’s good to be born in the month of October you know.

Lagbaja: (Worried) what!? ….I am yet to be due for a co-operative loan till December….

Child: See you next month Lagbajaaaaaaa. (Child sleeping gracefully).
