LIKE FATHER, LIKE THE UNBORN CHILD

What accounts for similar traits in parents and some of their children?

Sincerely, I can’t give the answer. I thought of chromosome but I guess there are more to it. In listening to this father-child conversation, I learned a great deal about characteristics shared among generations.

The trait showcased in this text is more than a common interest between dads and child. It forms an intimate bond that engages ambition, achievement, competition, criticism, fear, failure, reconciliation, growth, renewal. In other words, it re-enacts the high drama of family life.

I don’t need to tell you the man who Lagbaja is, if you read through the previous pages, you will not be too surprised by the time you scroll down and see what the “unborn child” shared with her father.

Like father, like the unborn child, I say. A voice for the voiceless, and an advocate of justice and youth emancipation, that is who Lagbaja is.
